Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Chemistry, or Similar Science with 4-5 years experience
• MS in Engineering, Chemistry, or Similar Science with 0-2 years experience
• Proficient with LIMS, Pilgrim, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Administer safe laboratory practices and keep trainings up to date
• Must have initiative and be self-motivated

Responsibilities

• Capable of performing Analyst III (Technician III) duties
• Develop new analytical methods to improve products and services
• Repair instruments
• Tune and troubleshoot instrument issues and resolve analysis roadblocks
• Manage supplier service needs for equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance on lab instrumentation
• Create BKM's and SOPs for instrument maintenance and analysis
• Provide technical training to other chemists and technicians
• Ensure data accuracy and proper data entry of analysis results
• Ship equipment and requalify when received back
• Support instrument software upgrades
• Provide after-hours troubleshooting and data interpretation
