Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or US military experience.
• 2+ years experience in chemical operations preferred.
• Pass forklift certifications and operate forklift safely.
• Read, comprehend and follow English instructions; write simple correspondence.
• Ability to use technology-based devices for business operations.
• Meet production requirements with given information/equipment.
• Wear safety equipment as prescribed.
• Comply with placarding rules when loading/unloading trucks.

Responsibilities

• Receive/unload and prepare/load liquid and dry chemical products from/to trucks, tankers, and railcars.
• Operate powered and manual forklifts with certification and maintain daily forklift checklist.
• Repackage product into proper containers with correct labeling and storage.
• Maintain accurate receiving/shipping logs and inventory records.
• Inspect tanks, tankers and railcars before and after loading/unloading.
• Ensure safe handling and compliance with hazardous material rules.
