Job summary

Brenntag North America, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate in Ohio to receive, unload and load chemical products from trucks, railcars, and tankers. You will perform sampling, quality checks, and maintain accurate receiving/shipping logs while adhering to safety procedures.

The role requires forklift certification, ability to lift bags and pallets, and the willingness to work 8- to 12-hour shifts, including overtime. Equal opportunity employer; drug screen and background check required.

Qualifications

• Possess or obtain Forklift Operators certification and demonstrate safe forklift operation.
• Ability to read, understand, and carry out instructions in English; write simple correspondence.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Must be capable of attaining a TWIC card for MTSA facilities when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Receive/unload and prepare/load liquids and dry chemicals from/to trucks, tankers and railcars.
• Operate forklift and maintain daily checklist; move raw materials and finished products as needed.
• Package and label products for storage or shipment and maintain inventory logs.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE; maintain clean, safe work area.
