Job summary

PrideNow, a Pride Global staffing division, seeks an experienced Chemical Technician in Danbury, CT to support chemical manufacturing, order fulfillment, shipping, and production operations. This role handles, compounds, blends, mixes, dispenses, labels, packages, and ships chemical materials while ensuring SOPs, quality standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements are met.

This full-time position on the 2nd shift (1:00 PM – 10:00 PM) includes a salary of $55,000–$65,000 annually

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience in chemical manufacturing, chemical processing, or a related manufacturing environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent with knowledge of chemical handling procedures, basic analytical techniques, weights and measures, and quality requirements.
  • Ability to operate or learn warehouse and shipping equipment, including pallet jacks, dollies, forklifts, and shipping/receiving software.

Responsibilities

  • Requisition and move chemical materials from receiving to the shipping/production area and prepare customer orders for on-time fulfillment.
  • Accurately compound, mix, blend, dispense, fill, label, and package chemical products while following SOPs, GHS requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Collect and label samples for quality control inspections and ensure appropriate equipment is used for each task.
  • Verify materials against work orders and shipping documents, including quantities, destinations, and routing.
  • Prepare bills of lading and other routine shipping/receiving documentation as needed.
  • Receive, unload, inspect, and sample incoming materials while comparing packing slips with purchase orders.
  • Maintain accurate inventory, shipping/receiving records, databases, and routine reports.
  • Operate loading and unloading equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies, and forklifts as required.
  • Support shipment tracking, proof-of-delivery documentation, and resolution of lost shipments.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment and perform other related duties as assigned.

Our client is seeking an experienced Chemical Technician to support chemical manufacturing, order fulfillment, shipping, and production operations. This role will be responsible for safely handling, compounding, blending, mixing, dispensing, labeling, packaging, and shipping chemical materials while maintaining compliance with SOPs, quality standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.

Job Requirements
  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience in chemical manufacturing, chemical processing, or a related manufacturing environment, with direct experience handling chemicals.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with knowledge of chemical handling procedures, basic analytical techniques, weights and measures, and quality requirements.
  • Ability to operate or learn warehouse and shipping equipment, including pallet jacks, dollies, forklifts, and shipping/receiving software.
Job Qualifications
  • Experience with compounding, blending, mixing, dispensing, filling, labeling, and packaging chemical or formulated products according to SOPs and quality standards.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately prepare shipping paperwork, verify work orders, quantities, destinations, routing, samples, and inventory records.
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a manufacturing/shipping environment while meeting production, quality, safety, and on-time fulfillment goals.
