Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related safety discipline.
• Proven experience in chemical process safety, risk assessment, and management.
• Knowledge of safety legislation and standards (e.g., OSHA, COMAH).
• Strong understanding of process hazards and control measures.
• Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments using HAZOP/LOPA/FMEA.
• Develop and implement safety management systems and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Investigate safety incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Provide safety training to staff and management.
• Oversee safe handling, storage and disposal of chemicals.
