The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience in the chemical industry, a Bachelor's degree, and strong communication and organizational skills. Qualifications

• 4+ years chemical industry or manufacturing production experience with progressive responsibility in a manufacturing facility.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to balance production and maintenance needs.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and listening ability.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines.
• Self-starter, strong leadership skills and team player with ability to produce quality results.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and accept direction.
• Must be proficient in the use of computers and software, particularly MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage production schedule to maximize manufacturing throughput.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding changes in materials or equipment.
• Effectively communicate with engineers, project managers, and supervisors on cost and schedule.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure materials meet production requirements.
• Establish relationships with vendors for material availability.
• Use tools to track efficiency and productivity of the process.
