Qualifications

• 4+ years chemical industry or manufacturing production experience with progressive responsibility in a manufacturing facility.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to balance production and maintenance needs.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and listening ability.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines.
• Self-starter, strong leadership skills and team player with ability to produce quality results.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and accept direction.
• Must be proficient in the use of computers and software, particularly MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage production schedule to maximize manufacturing throughput.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding changes in materials or equipment.
• Effectively communicate with engineers, project managers, and supervisors on cost and schedule.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure materials meet production requirements.
• Establish relationships with vendors for material availability.
• Use tools to track efficiency and productivity of the process.

What you'll do?

• Develop and manage production schedule at the job level to maximize overall manufacturing and precision cleaning throughput
• Communicate with suppliers regarding changes in materials or equipment needed to support production needs
• Effectively communicate with engineers, project managers, floor supervisor and section managers on cost and schedule; provide status to manufacturing management as issues arise
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure that materials are available to meet production requirements
• Establish relationships with vendors to ensure that materials are available when needed
• Use available tools to track the efficiency and productivity of the process on a daily / monthly basis
