Ortec is a chemical manufacturing company committed to safety, quality, and teamwork. The Chemical Production Operator will operate reactors and run batch processes, ensuring product quality and production efficiency in a cGMP environment.

You will monitor process conditions, verify raw materials, document batch data, and support EHS initiatives while collaborating across shifts on rotating schedules to maintain reliable operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Forklift experience and GMP training preferred; training provided on the job.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a controlled production environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate reactors and production equipment to execute batch manufacturing processes according to procedures.
• Monitor process conditions, control systems, and KPIs to maintain safe, efficient operations.
• Weigh, verify, and charge raw materials into vessels according to batch instructions.
• Transfer intermediate and finished products between vessels and storage.
• Read and interpret data from instruments to adjust processes as needed.
• Document batch data and parameters in accordance with GDP standards.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and support EHS programs.
• Collaborate across shifts to ensure reliable operations.
