Job summary

Kingspan Insulated Panels North America is seeking a Chemical Plant Technician to operate and maintain chemical processing equipment on the production line, ensuring safety and quality while meeting engineering specs. You will monitor line parameters, complete hourly QC sheets, label materials, and collaborate with the Production Supervisor and Chemical Engineer to address any out-of-spec conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree (related field) preferred.
• Two years of experience with products and processes in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to understand chemicals, measurements, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain chemical processing equipment following safety protocols.
• Ensure line parameters meet specifications and complete hourly QC sheets.
• Oversee laydown and product manufacture within engineering specs.
• Record data and label materials; identify non-conforming product and report.
• Adhere to SOPs and PPE requirements; perform preventative maintenance.
• Communicate maintenance needs and policy violations to supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of the workstation.
• Work shifts with other team leaders and production manager.
