Job summary

Syensqo is seeking a Production Technician to support the Spartanburg, SC plant. The role focuses on safe, efficient production operations in line with local regulations and plant quality standards.

You will operate chemical processing equipment, perform DCS control, and maintain essential paperwork and shift procedures. The position emphasizes teamwork with engineers, QA, and distribution staff while upholding safety and environmental practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to inspect pollution control devices is preferred.
• Experience operating chemical processing equipment is expected.

Responsibilities

• Operate all production chemical processing equipment including reactors, feeders, heat exchangers, piping networks, hoses, pumps, valves, instruments, vessels, scales, tanks, scrubbers, meters, etc.
• Conduct DCS operation to manipulate equipment controlled by the DCS.
• Maintain batch and shift paperwork.
• Keep a clean and organized workplace meeting housekeeping standards.
• Follow directions of the shift coordinator professionally and cordial.
