Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years operations experience in a plant/manufacturing environment.
• Associates Degree in Process Technology required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Move control settings to adjust equipment speeds and process conditions.
• Monitor instruments, flowmeters, panel lights, and indicators for safe, compliant operation.
• Record operating data, test results, and instrument readings.
• Coordinate with technical/supervisory staff to address safety, efficiency, and quality concerns.
• Draw samples and perform quality control tests to ensure standards are met.
• Regulate or shutdown equipment during emergencies as directed.
• Start pumps to wash/clean reactors and regulate flows of materials.
• Interpret chemical reactions and review lab reports for process adjustments.
• Inspect units and equipment to maintain efficiency and safety.
• Maintain waste handling per BMPs and environmental procedures.
