Job summary
A manufacturing company in the semiconductor industry is seeking an operator to monitor plant operations and perform round checks. Responsibilities include using various hand tools, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe work environment while adhering to safety standards. A High School Diploma is required, and further certifications are preferred. The ideal candidate should be skilled in using hand tools and machinery, and be able to operate under strict safety protocols, including the use of PPE.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Further education and certifications such as Chemical Operator, ISO 9001 and/or 14001 are preferred.
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
Responsibilities
Monitor plant operations by performing round checks 3 times per shift.
Make adjustments during round checks to ensure operations are within parameters.
Operate remote controlled hoist systems to load raw materials.
Skills
Ability to use hand tools
Ability to perform light maintenance
Ability to use air impact tools
Forklift certification
Basic math skills
Ability to communicate in loud environments
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
