Job summary

Solenis is seeking a Machine Operator at our Florence, Kentucky site to operate, monitor, and maintain production equipment in a fast-paced chemical environment. You will follow SOPs, safety protocols, and batch records while ensuring quality and efficiency on the line.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, basic mechanical knowledge, PLC/batch processing experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 1+ year in manufacturing/chemical environment preferred.
• Technical school training in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or electrical systems.
• Experience with PLC-controlled equipment, batch processing, or automated systems.
• Knowledge of GMP, ISO standards, Kosher, Halal, and NSF Quality Standards.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust packaging and chemical processing equipment.
• Follow batch records, SOPs, and safety standards.
• Maintain logs and document deviations or abnormalities.
• Coordinate with shift leads, quality staff, and maintenance teams to meet production goals.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and work across multiple shifts.
