Job summary

Solenis is a global leader in water treatment solutions. Located at our Florence, Kentucky site, we seek a Machine Operator to operate, monitor and maintain production equipment in a chemical setting.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, safety rules, and batch records; coordinating with leads and maintenance to sustain production flow; and ensuring quality and environmental safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year in manufacturing, industrial, or chemical environment.
• Technical school training in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or electrical systems.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and pumps, hydraulics, or instrumentation.
• Preferred: forklift certification and PLC experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust chemical processing equipment such as mixers, reactors, blenders, grinders, fillers, or packaging machinery.
• Follow batch records, production instructions, and SOPs.
• Start up, shut down, and clean equipment per protocols.
• Safety: comply with OSHA, EPA, and internal standards; use PPE as required.
• Record data and perform in-process checks; communicate deviations.
• Coordinate with shift leads and maintenance to meet production goals.
