Solenis is seeking a Machine Operator at the Florence, Kentucky site to operate, monitor, and maintain packaging and chemical processing equipment. You will follow batch records, SOPs, and safety procedures while reporting to the Production Supervisor.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, 1+ year in manufacturing, and familiarity with PLCs, pumps, and instrumentation.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of experience in manufacturing, industrial, or chemical environment.
• Technical school training in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or electrical systems.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems (motors, gears, bearings, belts).
• Basic knowledge of pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, or instrumentation.
• Familiarity with basic electrical concepts (voltage, circuits, fuses).
• Preferred forklift certification.
• Experience with PLC-controlled equipment, batch processing, or automated systems.
• GMP, ISO standards, Kosher, Halal, NSF Quality Standards knowledge.
• Troubleshooting of equipment mechanically inclined.

Responsabilidades

• Operate, monitor, and adjust packaging and processing equipment following batch records and SOPs.
• Ensure safety compliance with OSHA, EPA and internal standards; use PPE as required.
• Record measurements, weights, temperatures, and pressures; log data accurately.
• Identify deviations and communicate quality or safety concerns.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and assist maintenance technicians.
• Coordinate with shift leads, quality staff, and maintenance teams to meet production goals.
• Participate in training, safety meetings, and continuous improvement activities.
