Job summary

VERUS AEROSPACE FINANCE INC. is seeking a capable operator to run chemical process equipment in our Wichita facility.

The role requires following detailed operating procedures and maintaining quality throughout in-process batches, with emphasis on safety and proper handling of hazardous materials. The position involves monitoring furnaces and related equipment, performing routine checks, and collaborating with team members to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Must be able to work in standing position up to 10 hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate automatic and manual chemical process equipment in accordance with operating procedures.
• Perform quality control analyses to complete in-process batches and identify variations.
• Follow general and department policies and procedures.
• Monitor and adjust heat-treating furnaces, baths and quenching equipment as required.
• Load, unload and transport parts for processing and ensure proper handling of materials.
• Report to work on time and interact constructively with supervisors and coworkers.
• Other duties as assigned by supervision.
