Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate heat-treatment furnaces, ovens, vacuum furnaces, quench systems.
  • Review routers, work instructions, drawings, and customer specifications to determine required cycles.
  • Load and unload components using approved fixtures, racks, and handling methods.
  • Monitor process parameters such as temperature, time, pressure, and atmosphere to ensure quality.
  • Maintain traceability and document production travelers, furnace logs, and inspection records.
  • Identify and report deviations or potential nonconformances and support corrective actions.
