Job summary

You will monitor temperatures, document results, and perform basic verifications while collaborating with Quality and Engineering to maintain workflow and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read detailed work instructions, process specifications, routers, and technical documentation.
• Basic mathematical skills for time, temperature, tolerances, and measurements.
• Ability to complete accurate and legible production and quality records.
• Basic computer skills and entering information into systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to controlled processes.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to work assigned shifts, overtime, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate heat-treatment furnaces, ovens, vacuum furnaces, quench systems, and related equipment.
• Review routers, work instructions, drawings, and customer specifications to determine required heat-treatment cycles.
• Load and unload components using approved fixtures, racks, baskets, and handling methods.
• Monitor temperature, time, pressure, vacuum, atmosphere, cooling rate, and other critical parameters.
• Verify equipment settings and furnace programs meet procedures.
• Attach and verify thermocouples and temperature sensors when required.
• Review furnace charts and logs for completeness and conformance.
• Maintain material traceability and record production data accurately.
• Coordinate with Quality/Engineering to maintain workflow and delivery commitments.
