Job summary

Honeywell International Inc. in Illinois is seeking a process operator to maintain process control, perform routine maintenance, and uphold a safe working environment to ensure consistent product quality across our chemical production facility.

You will contribute to safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement while working with a cross-functional team on rotating shifts. This is a 12-hour, year-round position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year in manufacturing or related environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a station in a catalyst process unit following standard work.
• Certify on multiple stations and implement improvements.
• Write end-of-shift reports and perform shift exchanges.
• Attend and contribute to daily production meetings.
• Participate in SSP safety activities monthly.
• Assist in Rapid Problem Solving to return to standard.
• Support Continuous Improvement efforts for quality, cost and delivery.
• Ensure work area safety and compliance with procedures.
