Job summary

Honeywell International Inc. in Illinois is seeking an Operations Operator to support catalyst process units. You will maintain process control, perform routine maintenance, and uphold a safe working environment to ensure consistent product quality.

The role involves operating stations, shifting with a 12-hour rotation, and contributing to continuous improvement across safety, quality, and efficiency. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of manufacturing

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a manufacturing/industrial or service industry environment.
• Willingness to operate 12-hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate a station in a catalyst process unit following standard work.
• Certify on multiple stations and stay current with improvements.
• Write end of shift report and perform shift exchanges.
• Attend and contribute to a beginning of shift production meeting.
• Participate in SSP safety activities monthly.
• Participate in Rapid Problem Solving to return to standard when needed.
• Support Continuous Improvement for quality, cost and delivery.
• Ensure work area complies with safety procedures.
• Follow leadership work instructions and attend required meetings.
• This is a 12-hour rotating shift, 365 days a year position.
