Job summary

Chromalloy Carson City is seeking a Chemical Process Operator to support repair and processing of aerospace components. This hands-on manufacturing role involves setting up and operating production equipment, handling materials, and following procedures to ensure quality, safety, and performance.

You'll work on the 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM) with a shift differential and a $500 sign-on bonus. The position emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety, and continuous improvement in a regulated

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and following written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and adhere to procedures.
• Experience or familiarity with measuring tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production equipment, fixtures, and tools.
• Blend surfaces and apply/remove material using hand tools and machinery.
• Mix and prepare production materials according to established processes.
• Modify and process parts to required specifications.
• Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and quality requirements.
• Follow production instructions with a high level of accuracy.
• Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow quality standards, procedures, and inspection requirements.
• Adhere to health, safety, environmental, and company policies.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support facility operations.
