Job summary

You will work with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, EHS, and Production to improve performance, yield, and cost efficiency while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 3–5 years of experience in chemical manufacturing or related environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, optimize, and troubleshoot chemical manufacturing processes to improve safety and efficiency.
• Analyze performance and implement improvements to increase throughput and yield.
• Provide technical support for operations, including upsets and equipment issues.
• Develop and maintain process documentation (PFDs, P&IDs, SOPs, calculations).
• Support scale-up, new product introductions, and technology transfer initiatives.
• Lead continuous improvement projects focusing on waste reduction and energy efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements (PHA, HAZOP, MOC).
• Collaborate with Quality to investigate deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Manage capital projects including scoping, equipment selection, installation and commissioning.
• Use process data and control systems to monitor performance and drive reliability.
