Job summary

The Chemours Company seeks a Chemical Process Engineer at the Washington Works site in Parkersburg, West Virginia. This role provides process engineering support for the Monomer production area, reporting to the Manufacturing Technology Manager.

You will collaborate with operations, maintenance and engineering teams to improve process reliability, safety and efficiency, supporting startups, testing and capital projects as experience grows.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• Minimum 6 months chemical engineering-related experience (co-op/internship OK).
• Experience with process troubleshooting and safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Monitor process performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance and other engineering teams.
• Develop process improvements: conditions, piping, valves, controls, procedures.
• Support design and execution of process projects and startups.
• Maintain P&IDs and process documentation.
• Support safety programs and preventive maintenance.
• Assist in commissioning, turnarounds, and capital projects.
