Salary Range:

$80K - $100K/Annum plus Benefits

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Process Engineer to join a growing engineering team supporting industrial process design and capital projects. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers while contributing to projects from initial concept through design, commissioning, and start-up. Key Responsibilities:

• Support the evaluation, design, and optimization of new and existing process systems.
• Develop process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, equipment sizing calculations, and engineering documentation.
• Prepare equipment specifications and technical documentation for procurement and fabrication.
• Review vendor drawings, technical submittals, and equipment packages for compliance with project requirements.
• Participate in equipment layout reviews and 3D model coordination.
• Provide engineering support during system commissioning, start-up, and troubleshooting activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and project teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Opportunity to take on increased project leadership responsibilities as experience grows.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will also be considered.

Experience:

• 3-6 years of experience in process engineering, process design, manufacturing, or industrial engineering environments.
• Experience supporting engineering projects from design through implementation is preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Working knowledge of P&ID development and interpretation.
• Experience performing heat and material balance calculations.
• Understanding of hydraulic calculations and equipment sizing, including pumps, heat exchangers, control valves, piping systems, and related process equipment.
• Familiarity with industry codes, standards, and engineering best practices.
• Previous plant, manufacturing, or field experience is considered a plus.

Preferred Software:

• Process simulation software (such as CHEMCAD or similar).
• Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bluebeam or comparable PDF markup software.
• Navisworks or similar 3D model review platforms.

Preferred Credentials:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus but not required.
