Job summary

NR Consulting is seeking a skilled process design engineer in Cincinnati, OH. You will lead or assist with technical evaluation for new and existing process units to meet client needs, and support flow sheet development, equipment sizing calculations, and design documentation with vendors and contractors.

You will validate vendor packages, drawings, and P&ID’s, participate in 3D model reviews, and provide technical support for commissioning and start-ups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–6 years of related experience in project process design or a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to develop P&ID drawings and support design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead or assist with technical evaluation for new and existing process units to meet client needs.
• Support flow sheet creation, equipment sizing calculations, and scope of work packages with vendors.
• Validate vendor packages, drawings, and P&ID’s; assist in 3D model reviews and layouts.
• Provide technical support for commissioning and start-ups; growth to Project Manager possible.
