Job summary

Lab Alley, a fast-paced B2B eCommerce company, seeks a Chemical Portfolio Manager to shape its product roadmap and ensure technical integrity across listings and labels. You will bridge complex chemical data with high-velocity commercial execution and work closely with the CEO and lead Chemist.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive experience in Product Information Management, Product Development, Project Management or a related role.
• Chemistry background or deep experience in chemicals.
• Data integrity mindset to ensure 100% accuracy of technical data and labels.
• Ability to lead projects across multiple departments to deliver shelf-ready online products.
• Analytical skills to leverage product data, sales results and market insights for decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead product launches and supplier integration by aligning Operations, Marketing, IT and Customer Relations.
• Collaborate with CEO and Chemist to translate product vision into actionable plans; coordinate with Operations, Customer Relations, Finance, Marketing and IT.
• Standardize the Launch Process for adding new chemicals to the digital storefront and perform quality audits for accuracy and branding.
• Centralize Product Intelligence as the single source of truth for product data; oversee documentation and packaging label accuracy.
• Guide regulatory documentation requirements for products sourced domestically and internationally; ensure compliance before purchase.
