Job summary

Lab Alley seeks a Chemical Portfolio Manager in Austin, TX to act as the Scientific Brain behind commercial strategy. You will bridge complex chemical data with fast-paced execution, lead launches, and own product information management across the lifecycle.

Reporting to the Sr. Operations Manager and collaborating with the CEO and lead Chemist, you will build the product roadmap and ensure data integrity, regulatory compliance, and digital excellence as we scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in PIM, product development or project management.
• Chemistry background or experience in chemicals.
• Zero-error mindset for chemical data on websites and labels.
• Proven cross-functional project management across departments.
• Data-driven decisions from sales, data and market insights.
• Excellent communication across levels and teams.
• Strong Excel skills and systems fluency.

Responsibilities

• Lead product launches and integration across departments.
• Collaborate with CEO and Chemist to translate vision into plans.
• Standardize the launch process for adding new chemicals.
• Centralize product intelligence and ensure page/label accuracy.
• Coordinate with Customer Relations, Quality, and Supply Chain.
• Define documentation requirements to ensure compliance.
