Job summary

Nachurs Alpine Solutions is seeking a Chemical Plant Operator II to support daily production in a safety‑driven environment. You will assist with inventory, loading and unloading raw materials, and operating industrial equipment while following batch instructions and maintaining records.

The role requires basic computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work weekends. A high school diploma or higher is required, with 2+ years in a chemical plant preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher required.
• 2+ years of work experience in a chemical plant preferred.
• Must pass a pulmonary function test and have a respirator clearance.
• Be clean-shaven to wear a respiratory mask.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Safety-oriented work habits and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inventory, leak, and tank checks.
• Open/close tanks and transfer lines for raw materials.
• Operate equipment such as pumps, blenders, reactors, and weighing scales.
• Unload/transfer raw materials using proper safety procedures and PPE.
• Read meters, charts, and instruments to ensure accurate production.
• Collect, label, and deliver product samples for lab testing.
• Prepare and label drums, totes, and containers for shipping.
• Follow batch instructions under supervision.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
