C&S Chemicals is seeking a Chemical Plant Operator to oversee the safe operation of alum production and related processes. You will work with blending equipment, monitor quality, and maintain equipment safety to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in plumbing, electrical, general maintenance, or operating front-end loading equipment preferred.
• Chemical plant experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate chemical processing equipment (digesters, mixers, pumps, control systems) to produce alum and related chemicals.
• Measure and monitor materials to ensure production conformance.
• Adjust settings and control parameters to meet quality and efficiency targets.
• Conduct inspections and tests to maintain product quality and equipment safety.
• Collaborate with team to meet production targets and maintain safety standards.
• Perform routine safety checks and participate in safety training sessions.
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform minor repairs to maintain production continuity.
