Job summary

Executive Recruiting Group is seeking a Chemical Plant Manager in Valdosta, GA to lead all shifts, supervise operators and team leads, and drive safe, compliant operations across the wastewater treatment process.

You will set goals for problem solving, ensure timely delivery of quality products, and oversee regulatory, health and environmental requirements while fostering a strong safety culture and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Significant work experience in a chemical process with formal leadership training.
• 5 years of progressively responsible supervisory experience in a chemical manufacturing setting.
• Experience with chemical processes such as mixing, dissolution reactions, and wastewater treatment.
• Experience with ISO 9100, Hazwoper, safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all operators and team leads on shift.
• Implement production plan and flex labor to meet on-time delivery goals and efficiency targets.
• Improve process flow and promote a safety culture within the chemical plant team.
• Review industrial risks and ensure employees are knowledgeable of their responsibilities.
• Meet all regulatory and compliance requirements for safety, health and environment.
• Promote involvement in autonomous teams to highlight production and quality issues.
• Monitor the team’s hourly production and adjust to meet or exceed targets.
