Job summary

Executive Recruiting Group is seeking a Chemical Plant Manager in Valdosta, GA to lead all shifts, supervise operators and team leads, and drive safe, compliant operations across the wastewater treatment process.

You will set goals for problem solving, ensure timely delivery of quality products, and oversee regulatory, health and environmental requirements while fostering a strong safety culture and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Significant work experience in a chemical process with formal leadership training.
• 5 years of progressively responsible supervisory experience in a chemical manufacturing setting.
• Experience with chemical processes such as mixing, dissolution reactions, and wastewater treatment.
• Experience with ISO 9100, Hazwoper, safety and environmental regulations.

Job description

The Chemical Plant Manager is responsible for the supervision and leadership, reporting, and communication for all shifts of chemical plant operations, including the wastewater treatment process. You will ensure compliance with environmental regulations and the safety rules for each process activity, including industrial risks. You will ensure the timely delivery of quality products consistent with safety, engineering, and quality documentation. You will set and achieve goals for problem solving and closure of open safety and quality actions.

Responsibilities:
