Job summary

DuPont is seeking a General Operator in Midland, MI to monitor and operate equipment, perform safety checks, and support safe, efficient plant operations. You will rotate through multiple assignments, demonstrate troubleshooting abilities, and participate in root-cause investigations to improve performance.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED with manufacturing experience; an associate or technical degree or chemical process cert is preferred. This is a full-time on-site role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Associate’s or technical degree, chemical process certificate, relevant military experience, or chemical process background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through all identified plant assignments as defined by the training model.
• Perform and document safety checks.
• Monitor and operate equipment and facilities to ensure quality and conformance with SOPs.
• Lead or participate in root cause investigations and advanced troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety rules and shift procedures.
