• Experience operating fork trucks in manufacturing.
• Must read a tape measure.
• Keep accurate written records and communicate well.
• Attention to detail; reliable team member.

Responsibilities

• Adjust controls to regulate temperature, pressure, feed, or flow of liquids or gases and prescribed reactions.
• Operate chemical processes or systems using control boards or semi-automatic equipment.
• Direct activities of workers assisting in control or verification of processes or unloading materials.
• Drain equipment and flush tanks or equipment with liquids.
• Measure ingredients or substances used in production.
• Troubleshoot problems with equipment, devices, or products.
• Open valves or start pumps, agitators, or automatic material feed.
• Read plant specifications for product modifications.
• Dispose of hazardous materials according to procedures.
• Maintain safety, health, and environmental compliance.
• Patrol work areas to detect leaks or malfunctions and monitor conditions.
• Implement appropriate industrial emergency response procedures.
