Chemical Packaging Operator

PrideStaff Greenville is seeking an experienced 2nd shift Chemical Packaging Operator on behalf of our client in Greenville, SC.

We are searching for a skilled and reliable Chemical Packaging Operator with forklift experience. This person will fill drums, bulk bags, and paper bags with Reservol Powder and move the material to the warehouse.

Chemical Packaging Operator duties include:

1. Proper labeling of drums, paper bags, and bulk bags
2. Move material to the warehouse by means of a forklift
3. Ensure that quantities are in-line with paperwork
4. Must be able to handle 200 lb. drums and be able to lift 50 lbs.

Chemical Packaging Operator skills & preferred experience include:

1. Forklift Experience
2. 2-3 years of powder packing experience preferred
3. Some knowledge dealing with chemicals and their hazards
4. Basic math and reading skills
5. Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, e.g., Steel Toe Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, Respirators
6. Must possess a team-building attitude
