Job Position:

Chemical Packaging Operator

Duration:

At least 12 months, with potential to become permanent

Pay Rate:

$25/hr

Requirements:

• Chemical handling experience and working experience with SAP is a MUST
• Associate’s degree in chemistry or other life sciences OR some college-level science coursework and 2+ years of professional chemical handling experience (packaging, manufacturing, etc.)
• Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems
• Lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with site planner, operations supervisor, and shipping department
• Receive material cleared by final quality inspection
• Prepare appropriate packaging containers
• Fill containers per required configurations
• Final labelling of packaged products
• Transfer labelled products to shipping
• Ensure accuracy, cleanliness, and on-time order completion
• Complete detailed paperwork and computer transactions
• Keep accurate inventory and organized workspace
• Support shipping department as needed
