Job summary

USALCO is seeking a Chemical Operator to oversee the safe and efficient operation of plant processes and equipment in a chemical manufacturing setting. You will ensure compliance with safety rules, perform quality checks, and adjust formulations to meet specifications.

The role requires a detail-oriented team player with strong communication skills who can work overtime and support continuous improvement initiatives across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain Fork Lift certification within 30 calendar days of hire.
• Must be able to learn chemical operator position within 60 calendar days of hire.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe and efficient operation of processes and equipment.
• Apply plant safety rules, practices and procedures.
• Perform quality checks and adjust formulations to specs.
• Complete paperwork: batch sheets, run sheets, shift reports.
