Job summary

Veolia Group is seeking a Chemical Operator to safely manage chemical manufacturing processes, monitor equipment, and perform quality checks. This role includes responsibilities on safety, environmental compliance, and serving as a member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT).

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in chemical manufacturing, strong math and communication skills, and the ability to operate forklifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; forklift experience preferred.
• 2+ years in chemical manufacturing; knowledge of hazardous materials.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control chemical processes and equipment.
• Perform quality checks and record operating data.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance; participate in Emergency Response Team (ERT).
• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering to resolve equipment issues.
• Respond to emergency events including fires or spills as needed.
