Job summary

Veolia Water Technology Beaumont is seeking a Chemical Operator to safely run chemical manufacturing processes, monitor equipment, perform quality checks, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

The role supports Emergency Response Team activities, maintains accurate records, and collaborates with maintenance and engineering to optimize production. A GED/HS diploma and 2+ years in chemical manufacturing are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ related experience in chemical manufacturing environment.
• Experience driving a forklift is required.
• Attention to detail and strong math skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor chemical processes and equipment per SOPs and safety standards.
• Record process data and instrument readings; communicate variances to supervision.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with maintenance and ERT as needed.
• Support EH&S programs and issue safe work permits as applicable.
• Inspect equipment like towers, boilers, and scrubbers; assist with samples and testing.
