Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Chemical Operator to safely and efficiently run chemical manufacturing processes. You will monitor equipment, perform quality checks, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. You will also serve as a member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT).

Responsibilities include operating and adjusting equipment, recording data, and coordinating with maintenance to resolve issues, with a focus on quality and process safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related experience preferred in chemical manufacturing.
• 2+ years in chemical manufacturing with hazardous materials.
• Experience driving a forklift is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor chemical processes and equipment; record process data.
• Perform quality checks and collect lab samples to verify standards.
• Comply with safety, environmental regulations, and SOPs; participate in ERT.
• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering to resolve equipment issues.
