Job summary

Solenis is seeking a Chemical Operator A to support production at our facility in Macon, GA. The role involves safe operation of equipment, handling hazardous materials, and producing multiple production batches, with a 12-hour Pitman schedule and mandatory overtime when needed.

You will perform quality testing, SAP data entry, and waste management, while following safety policies and using PPE. A high school diploma is required, and experience in a chemical plant is a plus; we offer competitive

• Reading, writing and mathematical aptitude are required for performance of job duties.
• A high school diploma is required; advanced studies and/or several years of related work experience are pluses.

Responsibilities

• Support the Production Team and shift teammates in the safe and effective completion of daily production & loading requirements.
• Handling raw materials (hazardous and non-hazardous).
• Producing and managing multiple production batches.
• Quality control/routine testing of product samples.
• Data retrieval and entry in the facility’s computer system (SAP).
• Safe operation of powered industrial trucks and yard trucks.
• Management and disposal of waste (hazardous and non-hazardous).
• Significant moving, lifting and manual labor is required.
• All employees are expected to wear PPE, including a respirator, and work safely.
