OxyChem is seeking a Chemical Operator (Loader) for the New Johnsonville, TN facility. This entry‑level role supports daily loading and unloading operations under supervision, with the potential to advance to a 12‑hour shift position.

You will participate in safety and environmental programs, complete required documentation, and monitor equipment and alarms. Strong math, reading, and communication skills are essential, along with a willingness to work rotating shifts and on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and/or Process Technology degree.
• Two years of relevant work experience in chemical plant or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficiency in math, reading comprehension, and mechanical reasoning with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; proficient in Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform loading/unloading tasks for tanker trucks and railcars.
• Monitor loading/unloading stations for safety and regulatory compliance.
• Complete documentation related to loading, DOT regulations, and SOPs.
• Conduct equipment inspections and coordinate maintenance activities with field teams.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety practices; participate in Emergency Response Team duties.
