Frac-Chem in Lafayette, Louisiana seeks a dedicated warehouse/facility associate to support daily operations, organize tasks, and ensure smooth shipment processes. You will move materials, assist in loading/unloading, and maintain housekeeping and safety standards.

The role requires forklift experience, ability to lift 50 lbs, and readiness for 8–12 hour shifts in a physically demanding environment, with compliance to safety procedures and environmental policies.

Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse safety procedures.
• Ability to operate hand trucks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Willingness to work 8–12 hour shifts in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the facility manager in organizing and executing tasks in the facility.
• Participating in and operating daily functions of the warehouse/facility, customer service, inventory, incoming and outgoing transport equipment.
• Move materials within the facility and yard using material handling equipment.
• Load and unload trucks following safety procedures.
• Assist preparation of shipments by staging, counting, and packaging materials.
• Distribute received shipments by delivering materials to proper locations and process paperwork.
• Report operational problems or safety issues with machinery or equipment.
• Practice good housekeeping and dispose of waste per safety policies.
