Job summary

DIHO Consulting is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations in Northeast Louisiana. You will move materials, receive, stock, and stage products, and assist with inventory accuracy using sit-down/stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid forklift operator certificate or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• 2+ years of recent forklift operation experience required.
• 6+ months of warehouse experience preferred.
• Industrial or production environment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently (up to 70% of the shift).
• Pull, prepare, and stage product for shipment, ensuring proper count and labeling.
• Perform daily pre-shift inspections and document findings.
• Change forklift batteries or LP tanks; monitor power source usage.
• Keep the facility and work area clean, safe, and organized.
• Comply with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Verify load accuracy, check for damage or miscounts, and report discrepancies.
• Assist in physical inventories and routine warehouse upkeep.
• Perform additional duties as needed or assigned by the supervisor.
