Job summary

Ruveon is seeking an Engineering Intern to collaborate with engineers on chemical processes, optimize yields, and support Lean initiatives. You will help shape project objectives, analyze requirements, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.

You will work in a chemical plant environment, performing engineering calculations and supporting daily production, maintenance, and procurement activities. This is a full-time internship with learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Sophomore year or higher and returning after internship/co-op.
• Ability to drive to the work location and work in a chemical plant environment.
• Willingness to work 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to improve chemical processes and yields.
• Assist in project development and design package analysis.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and engineering standards.
• Support maintenance, procurement, and reliability programs in chemical plants.
• Perform and verify engineering calculations using standard methods.
• Conduct cost, feasibility, and planning studies with data analysis.
• Collaborate daily with production and technical staff for problem solving.
• Contribute to Operational Excellence and Lean initiatives.
