Job summary

IMEG Corp is seeking a Chemical Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in Boulder, CO. Over 10-12 weeks you will assist experienced engineers on design, analysis, and implementation oversight of chemical processes.

You will develop PFDs and P&IDs, support cost estimates, and help prepare specifications. The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams and real project deliverables in a consulting engineering setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS in Chemical Engineering; at least 2 years completed.
• Strong interest in design consulting and collaboration.
• Proficient with MS Office; CAD and BIM familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with discipline system design to code and IMEG standards.
• Develop PFDs and P&IDs for projects.
• Support client relations, project notebooks, and records.
• Assist in equipment and instrument specifications.
• Perform field work and document existing conditions.
• Contribute to cost estimates and vendor quotes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver solutions.
