Job summary

Ideal candidates are pursuing a BS in Chemical Engineering with ABET preference, strong communication and analytical skills, and a willingness to learn and contribute to a team in Richland, WA. This internship is full-time.

Qualifications

• Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field from a recognized, accredited program required.
• ABET accreditation strongly preferred.
• Prior internship and/or related consulting experience preferred.
• Actively involved in campus, community or other volunteer activities or organizations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Basic knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office programs, including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Self-motivated and eager learner, aptitude to grow and develop within the field.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks applying standard engineering techniques and procedures.
• Assist lead engineers with project duties and tasks.
• Design and update engineering systems and corrections as needed.
• Contribute to various market-specific assignments.
