Job summary

SpaceX is hiring an Electrical Test Specialist for PCB work in Bastrop, TX. You will own state-of-the-art testing equipment for high-volume PCB manufacturing and support from concept to production.

You will drive testing strategies, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and collaborate with design and production teams to improve yield, cost, and reliability of Starlink PCB products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with 2+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience.
• Or a Bachelor's degree in an engineering, math or science discipline.
• Willingness to travel to SpaceX sites and vendors as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete standardized testing, root cause analysis, and R&D projects.
• Understand data trends and debug hardware and software failures.
• Program, load, and operate automated equipment.
• Triage non-conforming products and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering during design, build, and test to provide feedback; communicate between design and production.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities for yield, performance, and cost.
• Define maintenance and calibration schedules and troubleshoot complex problems.
