The Gables in Rochester is seeking a detail-oriented Chemical Dependency Technician for a part-time role on the 3rd shift (11:30 pm–8:00 am), every other weekend. The role supports clients through admission to discharge, assisting counselors, handling crises, and documenting services with professional discretion.

Candidates must be 18+, hold First Aid/CPR and Medication Administration certs within 30 days, pass the Minnesota DHS background, and communicate effectively in English.

Formación

• Must be 18 years or older.
• First Aid/CPR and Medication Administration cert within 30 days of starting.
• Able to pass Minnesota DHS background study.
• Able to relate to people from diverse backgrounds.
• Physical Demands include lifting up to 25 pounds; long periods seated; basic English documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Assist clients from admission through discharge.
• Supervise and manage client behavior; assist on-duty counselors.
• Respond to medical emergencies in a professional, therapeutic manner.
• Maintain client confidentiality per state/federal HIPAA guidelines.
• Document services in writing in English.
