Job summary

Aegis Chemical Solutions is seeking an accountable Blender for our operations in Louisiana. You will set up mixing tanks, manage batch documentation, and carefully blend chemicals to specification.

The role requires outdoor work in varying weather, with forklift operation and strict safety rules to follow daily. Two+ years of blending chemicals in production is preferred; a high school diploma or GED and forklift certification are required.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English to perform essential functions safely.
• Two+ years experience blending chemicals in production industry preferred.
• Valid forklift certification and high school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and terrains (90% of time).
• Physical demands include lifting, bending, climbing, and manual dexterity.
• Must read and understand safety rules, procedures, and product recipes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and start all mixing tanks and blenders.
• Obtain and understand batch documentation; ensure correct ingredients.
• Pumping and pouring chemicals into blend tanks in prescribed quantities.
• Operate equipment safely (mixer, scales, meters, pumps, forklifts).
• Return materials to inventory with accurate quantities.
• Follow batch approvals, adjustments, and requirements.
• Maintain clean equipment and work area.
• Refer issues to Supervisor.
• Communicate with Treaters, Delivery Drivers, Account Representatives, and Account Managers when batches are ready.
• Complete batch paperwork in a timely manner.
• Observe safety requirements.
