Job summary

Aegis Chemical Solutions is seeking a dependable Blender to support production in the designated area. You will prepare and operate blending equipment, verify batch specifications, and maintain accurate documentation.

This role requires reading and following lab instructions, and a commitment to safety across outdoor work conditions. Applicants should have 2+ years blending chemicals, a HS diploma or GED, and a forklift certification.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak and comprehend English.
• Must have 2+ years of chemical blending experience.
• Forklift certification and HS diploma or GED required.
• Able to perform math with weight/volume measurements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and start all mixing tanks and blenders.
• Obtain and understand batch documentation; ensure correct ingredients.
• Pumps, pours chemicals into blend tanks in prescribed quantities.
• Operate equipment safely (mixers, scales, meters, pumps, forklifts).
• Complete batch paperwork and documentation on time.

A valid forklift certification and high school diploma or GED is required. Daily physical demands of this position include, but are not limited to, sitting, standing, bending, climbing, agility, reaching, trunk movements, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, low level work, dexterity of hands and fingers, seeing, hearing, and talking.All candidates must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, as well as excellent problem-solving skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills. They must also be able to read/comprehend written and oral instructions in English, including safety rules, operating procedures, product recipes, material identification, etc. They must have mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, and the ability to perform these operations using weight and volume measurements. Beginner proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point) is a must.
